Abstract

The major and trace element compositions in the Antarctic meteorite have beendeterminated by Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA). The distribution characteristics of these element abundances were investigated, and the differences of elementabundances between Antarctic and non-Antarctic meteorites were also discussed. All meteorites are classified according to the result of this work and they are as follows: Y791717 (C3), ALH76006 (H6), ALH77214 (L3), Y75271 (LS), ALH76001(L6)and ALH76009(L6).
