Abstract
Objective To assess the effect of diet intervention in patients with dyslipidemia and provide scientific basis for prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia. Methods 136 patients with dyslipidemia from Taizhou hospital were recruited in this study. The cases were randomly divided into two groups as follows: observation group of 80 patients given strict diet intervention and a series of nutrition education;and the control group including 56 patients received routine diet guidance. After 6 months of the follow-up,all the participants from two groups were detected with the indices of plasma triglyceride(TG),cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) and body mass index(BMI),before and after the survey. Results In observation group, the indices of plasma TG,TC,LDL-C levels were significantly decreased after medical nutrition therapy, however HDL-C levels significantly increased(P0.01).Comparing with control group, the indices of plasma TG,TC,LDL-C level significantly decreased and HDL-C level increased in observation group. However,BMI had no statistical difference between two groups. Conclusion Scientific and rational diet as well as healthy lifestyle can effectively control lipid level.
