Abstract
At present the main direction of study in genomics has been transferred from structural genomics to functional genomics which focuses on elucidating the function of genes. The research metheds of functional genomics, mainly include Expressed Sequence Tag(EST),Serial Analysis of Gene Expression(SAGE),cDNA microarrays and DNA chips,Reverse genetics,Proteomics and Bioinformatics.Functional genomics of plants has made new progress in the study of Arabidopsis, rice and grain, etc.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
