On the evolution of the central government's military system in the beginning period of Liao

The Liao dynasty was founded by force,and Qidan military system played an important political role in Liao dynasty.In the beginning period of Liao,accompanied by the rising of Qidan nationality,the governors grabbed military power by the traditional military force of their tribes;and on the other hand,they reformed the military and political systems of the tribes on the basis of the Central Plains' military system.And further,they developed and created the central military system that was needed to maintain the feudal centralized power,which greatly promoted the development of Qidan dynasty.The military system of Qidan dynasty,especially the central military system also generated far-reaching influence on the regime of the ethnic minorities in the later dynasties including Jin,Yuan,Qing,etc.,e.g.,the Da Ma Chi Jun of Mongolian nationality in the later time just originated from the central lifeguard system of Liao dynasty.
