Abstract

[Objective] To compare the application effect of microwave digestion and wet digestion in the ICP AES determination of metallic elements in food. [Methods]Microwave digestion and wet digestion were applied in the determination of milk powder, milk drink, white wine, flour, aquatic products, meat products, and soft drink and so on.[Results]The detection limit of the microwave digestion was 0.011~0.0218 mg/L, which could satisfy the requirement of the determination; the recovery rate was 90.6%~95.1%; statistical analysis was made on the test data of the determination result by the two methods. [Conclusion]The microwave digestion method is simple, rapid with high recovery rate and accuracy and is applicable for the determination of metallic elements in food.
