Study on Operative Treatment of Fractures of the Acetabulum

Abstract

Objective:To explore the surgically treatment effects and prevention of complications of fractures of acetabulum.Methods: Twenty patient with fractures of the acetabulum were received reduction and fixation from January 2001 to June 2008.According to Letournal-Judet classifications,there were 4 cases with anterior column fracture,2 cases with anterior column associated with anterior wall fractures,2 cases with transverse acetabular fractures,2 cases with posterior column fracture associated with posterior wall fracture,4 cases both column fractures.The clinical results were evaluated with d′Aubigne and Postel hip score standard.Results: All patients were followed up 6 month to 36 month,the average time were 20 monthes.The excellent and good rate was 90%.Conclusions: Surgically treatment effects of acetabular fracture.
