Abstract

Pyometra is a severe chronic bacterial infection.Pyometra often occurs in mature females dogs.Signs of pyometra are evidence.The messages of image can diagnose this disease.Medical and surgical treatments are available.There are twenty cases of pyometra in a pet hospital during January to June in 2005.Fifteen cases of pyometra are open,and five cases of pyometra are atresia.At last,the eighteen dogs that were treated by removing uterus are cured and the medical treatment of two dogs is obscure.
