Abstract
Two richness indices, four species diversity indices and five evenness indices were used to analyze the species diversity of the plant communities in Tianlong Mountain,Shanxi. The results shown that the diversity of the plant community in Tianlong Mountain was related to elevation, the richness indices were increased and evenness indices were declined, but the diversity indices were not obvious with the increase of elevation. The diversity indices and richness indices of the plant communities were obviously affected by the type and structure of the community. The more complicated of the structure, the bigger of the diversity indices and richness indices.
