Analysis on immunophenotypes of chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Abstract

Objective To study the immunophenotypes of chronic lymphocytic leukemia(CLL).Methods The immunophenotypes of 42 cases of chronic lymphocytic leukemia were determined by immunocytometry.Results In CLL,the expression of CD5+/CD19+ was 92.9%,CD5-/CD19+ was 7.1%,CD13+ was 25% and CD33+ was 21%.Conclusion The immunophenotyping technique is very effective in diagnosing lymphocytic leukemia and it is helpful for the treatment and evaluation of prognosis of this disease.
