Abstract
Based on monitoring the roof runoff quality in Shanghai,the outflow of pollutants in roof runoff was analyzed,and the characteristics of roof runoff quality were studied.The outflow types of pollutants in roof runoff,the corresponding characteristics of runoff quality and the environmental conditions were obtained by studying the process of pollutants outflow.From the probability plot of the event mean concentration(EMC),it is showed that all the pollutants concentrations have the good lognormal distribution.The EMCs of COD,SS,BOD5,NH3-N,TP and TN in the roof runoff in Shanghai urban area are 42.6 mg/L,76.9 mg/L,15.2 mg/L,1.61 mg/L,0.14 mg/L and 4.8 mg/L respectively,and the main pollutants are SS and COD.
