Abstract

This paper describes the research on waterjet propulsion and the application of CFD software briefly. The flow field in waterjet propulsion of a amphibious vehicle is calculated with the RNG k-e turbulence model,MRF model and non-structure grid by means of the Fluent software. The impact of different shapes of the hull back on the flow field in the inlet of waterjet propulsion at its max mph is also dicussed.
