Abstract
This thesis describes an industrial experiment about the production of cumene on zeolite catalyst in phenol-acetone plant of Jilin Petro-Chemical Co. Ltd. The results show that in contrast to phosphoric acid catalyst, the production of cumene on zeolite catalyst exhibits low operating cost, high product yields, high product purity and little corrosion. The zeolite catalyst process can be applied in the revamping of cumene unit.
