Educational Inequality:the Disharmony in Constructing a Harmonious Society

We should attach much importance to education in constructing a harmonious society because educational equality is the keystone of social equality.Recently,educational inequality has caused new social inequality in our country,which has become the underlying disharmony in building a harmonious society.In order to realize educational equality,we should increase investment in education,especially in basic education in rural areas,provide support for education in backward regions by improving the fiscal transfer system and introducing preferential policies and pay special attention to the education of the children of the social vulnerable groups.
