Abstract
Objective To investigate the optimum extraction process and anti-oxidant activity in total flavonoids of Pueraria lobata. Methods By ultrasonograph-assisted extraction, concentration of solvent, time of ultrasound and temperature were studied.By ethanol of kit of total anti-oxidant capability(T-AOC),the anti-oxidant capability of extraction was measured. Results The best condition:the ratio of 70 % ethanol to Pueraria lobata(w/v) was 1∶20,extracting 30 min at 80℃,the content of total flavonoids was 5.19%,and the best anti-oxidant capability was 53.Conclusion This method is a purely physical process and has not any pollution. It is an ideal way to extract flavanone in Pueraria lobata.
