On the Methodology of Xiong Shili's Yi-ology Concurrently to Comment Xiong's attitude to classics

Abstract

Xiong Shili's attitude to classics,especially in historical facts,has been judged as ridiculous by most scholars.In the historical facts,Xiong's conclusion of classics is wrong.This paper aims to find the explanation for Xiong's attitude to classics.It is the metaphor that brings large space and strong efficacity in explaining the text.Xiong believed firmly that the core of Yi-ology was Qianyuan as the ontology combined with phenomena.His reading is in accordance with his theory building.
