Abstract
Objective To evaluate the mucosal circumcision of superior hemorrhoid with anastomat of prolapsed hemorrhoids. Methods From January 2002 to January 2004, prolapsed hemorrhoids in 30 patients underwent the mucosal circumcision of superior hemorrhoid with anastomat. Results 27 patients were fully satisfied with results. One patient experienced bleeding after operation, caused by in sufficient anastomosis. Two patients underwent simultaneous rectal polypectomy along with PPH hence required analgesic treatment. The average operation time was range 20 minutes. The mean hospitalization was range 3 days. Conclusions PPH is a safe, effective, shortening operative time and hospitalization time.
