Abstract

Objective To discuss the practical value of ultrasound-guided mammotone vacuum assisted biopsy system in treatment of benign mammary lesions. Methods Ultrasound-guided mammotome vacuum assisted biopsy system was used to remove breast lesions in 51 patients on the basis of clinical and ultrasound diagnosis. Results Breast lesions were tolally removed in 49 of the 51.A small residence of breast lesion was found in 2 patients in the following month. There was no other complication found except 2 cases of mild local hemorrhage and 1 case of mild local hemorrhage after the operation.Final pathology shound one case of ductal carcinoma in-situ,and others were of benign lesions. Conclusion It is of practiced value to use the ultrasound-guided mammotome vacuum assisted biopsy system to treat the benign mammary lesions, due to its minimal invasion, and less complications.
