Abstract
Two marine bacteria. QM34 and QM56, were isolated from the seawater near Qingdao. They can produce extracellular agarase. Morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics of the two isolates have been tested. The results showed that both of the two strains were Vibrio sp. Further analysis were carried out with BIOLOG. The two isolates were identified as Vibrio tubiashii. There are still some differences in the capacity of using carbonaceous between the two strains.
