On Cultural and Creative Industries of Miao Costumes in Rongshui,Guangxi

As the Miao people do not have their own written scripts,costumes are a carrier of their long history,splendid culture and emotional feeling.Starting from the development and changes of the Miao costumes in Rongshui,Guangxi,this paper tries to explore into ways to extract the essence of ethnic culture and apply it to designing and development of products,combining the Miao costumes and modern elements so as to promote the development of cultural and creative industries.The ultimate goal of this research is to put forth some viable measures to ensure the survival and development of traditional Miao costumes of Rongshui.
