Abstract

Volcanic lithology in Oulituozi is determined through core observation, thin section identification and litho-chemical analysis. Volcanic lithofacies of this area is determined according to lithology and occurrence of volcanics, and is classified as explosion facies, effusion facies, overflow facies and volcanic sedimentary facies. Study of volcanic lithofacies is the basis of volcanic study. There is a close relationship between volcanic lithofacies and reservoirs.
