Abstract

The high pressure common rail fuel injection system is the development direction of diesel engine fuel system which can realize multi-injection such as pilot injection, main injection and post injection, effectively optimize the diesel engine combustion, lower the noise and reduce emission. Based on the investigation of the effects of the post injection on the engine, the control strategies of the post injection of this injection system are designed in order to effectively lower combustion noise and reduce emission. The problems in the post injection about injection harmony, injection quantity, injection starting time, injection length, injection release and the related parameters correction are solved.
