Abstract
Objective: To compare and analyze the curative effects and the analgesic effects of warm acupuncture and electroacupuncture on scapulohumeral periarthritis. Methods: The 200 patients were randomly divided into warm acupuncture and electroacupuncture groups based on the therapeutic methods, 100 cases in each. The clinical curative effect and the analgesic effect were compared and analyzed after the treatment. Results: The total efficiency of warm acupuncture group significantly higher than that of the electroacupuncture group(P0.01). After the treatment, the VAS, PPI, PRI scores of the two groups were both better than before(P0.01). The differences of VAS, PPI, PRI scores of warm acupuncture group before and after treatment were greater than those of electroacupuncture group(P0.01). Conclusions: Warm acupuncture has better clinical effects and analgesic effects than electroacupuncture treatment, and it can improve patients' conditions and their quality of life, reduce their suffering.
