Abstract
A Fe-B alloy has good heat conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance to molten zinc, thereby its application may be benefit for lowering the manufacturing cost for galvanizing production. In this paper,on the basis of previous Fe-B alloy,we add some elements such as carbon and silicon to enhance the corrosion resistance of α-Fe and refine the microstructure of B-eutectics while keeping the same proportion of intermetallic compound in the alloy,as well as to enhance the mechanical properties of the material,so that it can be used in real production.
