Abstract
Bleaching of pulps with recombinant xylanase boosting had been studied. The xylanase was prepared by fermentation using shake flask from engineering bacteria of Pichia pastoris HB148n3.The pulps were pretreated with xylanase, and the brightness index, breaking length, folding strength, tear index were measured. The results showed pre-treatment of pulps with xylanase dose of 15 IU·g-1 enhanced the brightness index, breaking length, tear index respectively by 3.03%ISO,0.62 km,0.93 mN·m2·g-1 for reed and wood pulp(reed pulp∶wood pulp=3∶1) and enhanced the brightness index, folding strength, tear index respectively by 2.82%ISO,2.63 times,1.31 mN·m2·g-1 for wheat straw pulp. The enzymatic pretreatment with the xylanase improved properties of bleached pulps.
