Prevention care of aspiration pneumonia in elderly patients with stroke

Abstract
Objectiv To study the prevention care of aspiration pneumonia in elderly patients with stroke. Methods Divided 128 elder patients with stroke into the control groups,the oral care groups,the cough reflex sensitivity groups and oral care add cough reflex sensitivity groups,and we cared them with difference method. We observed the numbers of aspiration pneumonia. Results The control groups were higher in patients with aspiration pneumonia than other groups,P0.05; there were no statistics difference of the oral care groups and cough reflex sensitivity groups,P0.05; the oral care add cough reflex sensitivity groups were lower in patients with aspiration pneumonia than other groups,P0.05. Conclusion We should enhance training of cough reflex sensitivity,besides the oral care.
