Abstract
The parabolic equation method has been used widely in the electromagnetic wave propagation model and becomes the main tool to resolve the problem of electromagnetic wave propagation.Aiming at the researching into the characteristics of electromagnetic wave propagation in the atmospheric duct on the sea, this paper presents the proper model of electromagnetic wave propagation, and calculates the propagation attenuation of the electromagnetic wave in waveguide according to the model,at the same time compares and discusses the results under different propagation conditions, finally validates the propagation model.
