Abstract

Objective To study the effect of neural rehabilitation on post stroke depression(PSD).Method 120 patients in hemiplegies after stroke were randomly divided into two groups, rehabilitation groups(60 cases) and control groups(60 cases), patients in the rehabilitation group were given clinical treatment and regularly rehabilitation trainning, while those in cotrol group were only given clinical treatment, and the evaluation was done in pre-treatment, mid-treatment and post-treatment(1~6 monthes), depression was assessed in HAMD Grade, activities of daily living(ADL) assessed in Barthel Index, obvious the changes of the depression and ADL. Result The HAMD scores and scores of Barthel Index raised in rehabilitation group were obviously superior to those in the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Neural rehabilitation trainning may obviously improve the scores of HAMD and ADL.
