Abstract

Crisis of faith is a term commonly applied to periods of intense doubt and internal conflict about one's preconceived beliefs or life decisions. The internal driving force of human being's sustenance and development, the ultimate guarantee of the meaning of life,as well as the spiritual motivation for the integration and cohesion of social forces all hinge upon determinate faith. The prevailing faith in a society will always reflect the leading values of that society, and the crisis of faith,in the other way round,is a representation of the fall of core values in a society.Faith construction should by no means be restricted only within the realm of ideology and ethics.Nevertheless, the fundamental and long-lasting measure lies in confronting the reality head-on and dealing with problems in reality with a positive mindset.
