Abstract
This paper first analyzed the fundamental principles of square grid method, cross section method, contour method and DTM method for earthwork calculation with the frequently-used software CASS7.0, and then compared the calculation accuracy and application conditions of dif erent methods by project cases. Hopefully, the paper will provide an optimized reference for users of spatial interpolation method and filling and cutting calculation.
