Abstract
The transport of fissile material is one of the operations with fissionable material outside the reactors.It is GB 11806—2004 Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material that provides the requirements and regulations for the safely transport of fissile material in our country.The technical approaches in the criticality safety evaluation for fissile material transport that should be considered according to the regulations and the experiences in engineering design and review were illustrated using a fresh fuel transport package as an example.The advices and suggestions for the design and review of fissile material packages were presented.
