Abstract
Fenton reagent was used to pretreat wastewater from flax production. The influences of pH value, reaction time,H2O2 dosage and FeSO4.7H2O dosage on CODCr removal were investigated. The results of the test showed that: under the condition that, the pH value was 4.5,the reaction time was 60 min,the dosage of H2O2 and FeSO4.7H2O were 5 mL / L and 1 500 mg / L respectively, the H2O2 was added to the reactor batch by batch continuously, the removal rate of CODCr reached 45%,the m(BOD5) / m(CODCr) of the wastewater increased from 0.21 to 0.53,and no SS was detected in the effluent water, which provided favorable conditions for the subsequent biochemical treatment.
