Abstract
GUO Pu was well versed not only in Yi learning, but also in Daoism and its occult techniques. In a long period of divination practice by Yi, he would organically combine both, with one complementing the other, attaining great success. By elucidating and analyzing specific divination examples, this paper deeply studies the unique connection between Daoism and divination by Yi, so as to help people to have an overall understanding on the development of the imagenumber Yi learning in the Wei and Jin dynasties.
