Abstract
A frame shear wall building with an attractive shape has a cantilever structure(6 ~ 10 m) from the second floor.East and north entrances of the building have a span of 30 ~ 40m.Concrete braces are used to transfer forces in this project.Steel reinforced concrete truss is adopted at the entrance with a large span, which meet architectural and structural requirements. In this paper, mechanical characteristics of the structure was analyzed. Results show that stresses in plan for structrual members in the cantilever and large span entrance are significant.Finite element analysis of the key connections of steel reinforced concrete trusses were also performed.
