Abstract

Calculation of dam-break flood includes dam-break simulation and flood flow simulation. In order to avoid complex formulas,a simplified model is adopted for dam-break simulation.Two-dimensional dam-break flood flow simulation program is developed independently based on finite volume method.Partial cell parameter is introduced to simulate the blocks in the inundation area.Dynamic demo of flood flow is implemented by GIS.
