Abstract
Unilatral matication is the more common masticatory function disorder in clinic.Prolonged unilatral mastication will directly affect the growth of the soft and hard tissue of gnathostomatic system,which maybe induce various morphic changes including malocclusion,facial anomaly and even the disease of temporomandibular joint.This article reviews the recently progress about unilatral mastication and its related respects.
