Abstract
The surname of Lv State in ancient China is Jiang.They are the descen dants of Emperor Yan tribe in the ancient times.In Shun's times,Boyi was gran ted as Lv State for his success in training river.Its territory lied in Shanxi, experiencing from the Xia Dynasty,the Shang Dynasty to the early Western Zhou Dynas ty.During the middle and late of the Western Zhou Dynasty,King Zhouxuan transf erred Lv State to Nanyang of Henan to defend Chu State.Lv State in Nanyang was conqur ed by Chu State during the time from 688 BC to 683 BC.During the period of King Chucheng,Chu State transferred Lv State to Xincai at the middle reaches of Hua ihe River as the vassal to defend the northern lords.
