Clinical and experimental researches on "Ruanmai Decoction" in treating atherosclerosis

Abstract

Atherosclerosis results from kidney essence-qi deficiency in root and phlegm-stasis accumulation in branch,and should be treated by nourishing kidney essence-qi and removing phlegm and blood-stasis,specifically by Ruanmai Decoction. Clinical and experimental researches have showed that Ruanmai Decoction can treat and prevent atherosclerosis.
