Abstract

The misers in poetic dramas of the Yuan Dynasty are very special in images,loving money as life,rich but cruel,resulting from their economy condition,moral inertia,split personality,and broken human relations.The misers have made the character gallery of the Yuan Dynasty more colorful and vivid,and also provided some caution to the following generations.
