Abstract
Investigation on the meiofauna about paddy feild of Jinan Qianjing was studied in January 2010(winter).The results showed that the average meiobenthos abundance was 770 ± 351 ind·10·cm-2, average biomass was 692.3 μg dwt·10·cm-2.In our study, six groups of small benthic organisms were identified.According to the abundance, free-living nematodes were the most dominant group, which dominance was 94.9%, followed by Copepoda, Ostracoda, Tardigrada and Oligochaeta. Our studies could supply reference to the futher research on the small benthic communities, species composition, as well as the research on structure and function of freshwater benthic ecosystem.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
