Thyroid Resection with Mini-incision

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the safety and the efficacy of thyroid resection with mini-incision. Methods 52 patients with nodular goiter inderwent partial thyroid resection with mini-incision. Results All of 52 cases were cured. Postoperative hospital stay was 4～7 d with a mean of 5.3 d. with primary wound healing. No complication occurred. Conclusion Thyroid resection with mini-incision might be safe and effective procedure.
