Abstract
This paper constructs spatial econometrics model of poverty incidence and agglomeration influence factors, based on 31 provincial statistical data from 2005 to 2010,using spatial analysis techniques, with aid of OpenGeoda software,to make an empirical study of China's regional poverty problem. The results show that incidence and agglomeration influence factors of each province has spatial dependence, local agglomeration presents characteristic of the west area is hot and eastern region is cold;the empirical conclusions considering geographical space effects are more robust and scientific, the spatial model is superior to traditional model; level of economic development, the financial expenditure of supporting poor, the degree of marketization, the supply of public service, urbanization, the concentration of population and gap of income distribution are all bear on incidence and gathering, but influence model, freshness, strength and direction are obviously different.
