Abstract
The morphology,histology and annual cyclical changes of gonads of Acrossocheilus fasciatus in Puxi river were studied in this paper.The morphology structure and its changes of their testes and ovaries were systemically described.The results showed that:the development of gonads can be divided into six stages and the change of germ cells of male and female can be divided into five phases.The spawning period lasted from April to August.The results of this paper indicated that A.fasciatus was single spawner,spawning only once a year.Right gonads of the total gonad develop earlier than left ones of females,while right gonads were larger than the left ones of male during whole history.
