A Further Study on Puxian Dialect Zone in Aoyao Village,Fuding

The Aoyao dialect in Shacheng town,Fuding county is a typical enclosed dialect zone.The paper tries to describe the phonetic features of Aoyao dialect,to find out similarities and differences when compared with Putian dialect, south Fujain dialect and east Fujian dialect.The author tries to outline the integration and variation of Putian dialect zone, i.e.Aoyao dialect for nearly 300 years especially in recent 30 years.
