Abstract
The shift from accelerating the pace of urbanization to building new countryside does not mean that the Chinese government has given up the development strategy of urbanization, but that the Chinese government has realized the need to find a more proper development mode than the great emphasis on urbanization. The integration of the cities and the countryside is the only way for the construction of new socialist countryside.Urbanization should promote the development of the countryside, and the new socialist countryside should be the new countryside in the process of urbanization. The putting forward of the construction of new socialist countryside means that China's urbanization has entered a new stage of development.
