Fine Interpretation Technique for Group K51 Reservoir

Abstract

Aiming to such complicated problems for the Group K51's character as many logging series,large logging time range,complicated data processing,no porosity logging and lack of true resistivity logging for many wells,etc.,the required logging curves are checked by Gauss function and statistics on the base of core calibration.In order to get true resistivity of formation,the screening effect of surrounding rock on lateral resistivity log is removed by relativity theory.The minimum values of permeability,porosity and pore throat diameter are confirmed reasonably by combination of Wall's method and statistical results of four characters of oil reservoir.The fine logging interpretation is well done by using the established models on porosity,permeability,shale content and oil saturation,the result of which is consistent to the production practice,so,this fine interpretation method is adaptable,dependable and valuable in log engineering.
