Breeding of New Hot Pepper Variety Aanjiao 15

Anjiao 15 is a new middle-early maturing F1 hybrid pepper developed by crossing self-line A-01 as female parent with self-line A-98 as male parent. The fruit has the shape of an ox-horn with smooth skin. It is light-green in color,25～32cm in length,4.5cm in shoulder diameter,and 0.4cm in flesh thickness. Its average weight per fruit is 120 g,and the total yield is about 4500kg per 667m2 inside spring plastic tunnel. It is suitable for cultivation inside solar greenhouse in winter in northern area. It has been extended in province of Henan?Shandong? Hebei and Shanxi.
