Abstract
Deng Xiaoping's theory on development is the combination of Marxist view and the realistic practices of modern China with special features of the age. Vast in scope and profound in content, Deng's theory has succeeded to Mao Zedong Thought and made a series of creative contributions to the historical development of Marxism.
