Abstract
The high proportion of deciduous tree and shrub in North China makes it important to make scene of deciduous tree and shrub form in winter.This paper introduces main deciduous trees and shrubs and the associated five elements which make scene of deciduous tree and shrub form in winter,including the branch's color or reality,the fruits or sepals which sustain in winter,the form of branches,the buds or leaf buds,and leaves.Also,six construction skills are discussed to make scene of wash painting with light colors in regard to arranging the deciduous trees and shrubs with evergreens,contrast of tree forms,contrast of colors,contrast of reality,contrast of light and shade,and sound effect.
