Abstract
Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)is one of the important signal transduction systems in organism.The three-component module of MAPK,in which the protein kinases activate a successive phosphorylation cascade,is involved in many cellular processes,such as cell growth,development,division,differentiation,death and coordination of cellular processes.The components,regulation mode and mechanisms involved in the MAPK pathway are reviewed in the article,which may provide understanding for estimatiion of the degree of tissue lesion and wound age in forensic research.
