Analysis and Reduction of Electromagnetic Torque Ripple of Brushless DC Motor

Abstract

The research is about torque ripple of brushless DC motor due to electromagnetic factor.As a example,the equation of torque ripple of two-phase brushless DC motor has been deduced.And a novel strategy and its realization of reduction of electromagnetic torque ripple have been presented by controlling current of the motor.The simulation results indicate the electromagnetic torque ripple and the feasibility and validity of its reduction method.
